Description

Mid-semester sees BDS crises unfolding on campus, on the floor of the US Congress, and within Israel itself. Universities dissembling about classroom targeting of Jews and Israelis, and protests celebrating Palestinian gunmen deemed “martyrs,” are among the notable developments. But the vote to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee also revealed a near total split between Democrats and Republicans over antisemitism. Meanwhile, Israeli firms are threatening boycotts of Israel over proposed legal changes. These developments are part of an increasing upheaval over BDS and antisemitism.
