BDS Monitor Live

The first month of the Trump Administration has seen a slew of Executive Orders regarding antisemitism, DEI and affirmative action, and university and NGO funding. Institutions are in disarray but many appear committed to resisting through lawsuits and selective compliance. At the same time, universities and other institutions continue to purge DEI materials if not practices, as well as crack down and prosecute pro-Hamas demonstrators. Coupled with revelations regarding USAID funding of global NGOs and media and subsequent defunding, the outlook for addressing BDS and antisemitism is dramatically different than before the election. SPME’s Live Briefing Series covers recent BDS developments and gives listeners the opportunity to ask questions to SPME staff.
