Petition Against Anti-Semitic Exhibition “Wall-on-Wall” in Berlin

  • 0

Last Wednesday the local parliament of Berlin Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg voted for a photography exhibition which shall take place at the famous East Side Gallery, the longest open air gallery of the world, at the former Berlin Wall of the GDR. The initiative comes from German Photographer Kai Wiedenhöfer, an internationally known “artist”.

He wants to show pictures of the Israeli anti-terror fence on that Berlin memorial at a distance of 300 meters. He wants to compare the dictatorship of the GDR with Israeli democracy and denies the anti-terrorist impact of that action in Israel. As we all know, the new anti-Semitism includes for example the comparison of Israel with dictatorship and violence. The exhibition is called “Wall-on-Wall” and the Greens and the left especially support this anti-Jewish event. In that big Berlin borough the left has the majority.Several members of the German chapter of SPME have signed an Open Letter against that anti-Semitic exhibition. International protest will help to stop that exhibition. Therefore an English version of the Open letter now exists:
