The purpose of these clippings is to present materials publicly advocating U.S. government legislation or policy affecting the U.S.-Israel relationship in directions differing in part or in whole from those advocated by AIPAC. The purpose is not to question the right of anyone to advocate other positions, but rather to inform readers about the range of views being advocated by others on issues of interest to AIPAC. The individuals and groups whose statements are presented here themselves often differ substantially from each other. Some are profoundly at odds with AIPAC’s general goal of advancing the U.S.-Israel relationship. Others share AIPAC’s commitment to this relationship but have divergent views of particular legislation and policies. It should not be inferred that inclusion of a statement here means ipso facto that its proponent is “anti-Israel” in AIPAC’s judgment.
