While SPME is thanks these wonderful 9 contributors who have started off the academic year understanding the necessity for SPME to remain strong and independent, we are quite concerned that your name may not be here, even perhaps as an anonymous contribution.
SPME needs all of our support if we are going to sustain the fight against the British boycott, have academic conferences and publish books, maintain a strong vibrant Network and engage, educate and empower or colleagues to address issues of anti-Israelism and anti-Semitism on college campuses. We cannot wait for the community groups, the student groups, campus administrations and others to make the situation better.
We must have the courage of our convictions to put our money where we say our hearts are and invest in this scholarship ourselves. We all know that we have work to do in our institutions and in our disciplines.
We are the custodians of the academic narratives on campus and we must invest in creating the research and knowledge that is necessary to reverse the rising tide of anti-Israelism and anti-Semitism on campus.
Our faculty members must recapture the campuses, through networking and empowerment and SPME is here to facilitate this in a way by faculty, for faculty. Please be generous and go to spme.org/donation.html . Israel’s destiny and its on campus is in your hands. Please make an investment in scholarship…today. Thank you, in advance and to these donors who have generously answered the call.
