A Conference Presented by the Jewish Studies Program at UC Davis
March 2-3, 2008.
Moshe Rosenberg, Chair of the UC-Davis SPME Chapter will participate in the conference and will present the topic “Anti-Israel Notions on University Campuses in California”.

2. Mark your calendar – On April 9th, our Chapter, the SPME Northern
California Regional Coalition and the Israeli Consulate at SF will
sponsor a lecture by an Israeli scholar:

Dr. Michal Perle-Kellner, an environmental engineering expert and the
only Israeli candidate selected for the 2007-2008 Humphrey (Fulbright)
Fellowship program, sponsored by the US Department of State. Dr.
Perle-Kellner studied for 10 years in the Technion – Israel Institute
of Technology, and has been working as a professional environmental
engineer for more than 16 years. She is active in environmental
regulatory processes in Israel, and influences and promotes
environmental issues and improvement of public health in Israel. She
will speak at UC-Davis on April 9 at 4:00 PM,tentatively, in room
107, Dept. of Food Science and Technology. In case location will
change, a separate message will be mailed.
