Under a Taube Philanthropies grant to Scholars for Peace in the Middle East through its cooperative venture agreement with the Jewish National Fund, Melanie Phillips, the award-winning British
journalist and author, will speak Monday, January 22 at the University of California at Los Angeles, with the co-sponsorship of the Political Science Department and Stand With Us, and she will
speak Tuesday, January 23 at the University of California at Santa Cruz, with the co-sponsorship of Jewish Studies, Stand With Us, and the American Jewish Committee. Her lecture at each campus is entitled “Londonistan: Radical Islam in England and Beyond.”

Melanie Phillips is a celebrated British journalist and author.
