Lecture by Dr Irene Lancaster FRSA
(Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Research Associate at the Medieval
and Renaissance Center at Haifa University, Patron of Christian Friends
of Magen David Adom UK, Academic and Interfaith advisor for ‘Anglican
Friends of Israel)

Dr Irene Lancaster FRSA, previously a lecturer at the University of
Manchester, lives and works in Haifa. She is currently a research
associate at Haifa University’s Center for Medieval and Renaissance
studies. Her blog on religious and political issues:

‘The London Times 30 Best Blog Awards 2007’. Her book on Abraham ibn
Ezra’s Introduction to the Torah was published by Routledge in 2003 and
has recently been turned into paperback. It is highly relevant to
contemporary issues on Judaism, Christianity and Islam and the
interfaith between them. Amongst numerous other things she is an advisor
to The Times, the Council of Christians and Jews, to Lambeth Palace and
the BBC et al and has published extensively in the International
Christian Press. She is an outspoken expert on Holocaust memory and
Christian-Jewish affairs, with a focus particularly on the Church of
England.
