Brigadier General (Res.) Yossi Kuperwasser is the former head of the Research Division at the Israel Defense Forces’ Intelligence Corps, as well as the Director General of the Ministry of Strategic Affairs. During his military service, he served among other positions as the Central Command’s Intelligence Officer and as the Intelligence Attaché to the United States. He also participated in the Yom Kippur War and the First Lebanon War. Kuperwasser was also among the founders of Havatazlot, the Intelligence Corps’ flagship program.

Since his retirement from the army, he has published multiple articles covering intelligence and military affairs.
