Prof. Richard Landes ist Professor für mittelalterliche Geschichte an der Boston University.
Prof. Landes war maßgeblich an der Aufdeckung der Al – Durah Affäre beteiligt
2005 veröffentlichte er eine 18-minütige Dokumentation Pallywood : According to Palestinian Sources.
In dieser Dokumentation zeigt er, wie die Berichterstattung in den Medien von palästinensischer Seite systematisch manipuliert wird und westliche Fernsehsender dieses Material unkritisch verwendeten.

Richard Landes ist seit 2003 Mitglied des SPME Board of Directors
