Two comments:

a) Even had it failed by, say, 30 – 70, showing up 30% as openly anti Semitic would be alarming, and this one PASSED by a 2-out-of-3 majority! To remember: in surveys such as “do you beat your kids” if 70% admit so, one can be pretty sure they ALL (except I) do. So, de-facto this, today, amounted to an unabashed across-the board exposure of the British Academia -i.e. not some lowlife bunch but the ‘CREAM’ of the British as anti-Semites

b) The greatest added danger will arise from falling for the scam of “not anti-Semitism, just Israel-bashing”. In view of

(i) the unmitigated one-sidedness,

(ii) the blatant singling out of, not just other but far greater, world problem: not to recognize this as an anti-Semitic drive is an illusion that arises from the understandable reluctance to face such a horrendous reality. It must be clear that since Anti-Semitism had become Politically-Incorrect, they simply adopted the ploy of doing the same but going after Israeli Jews under the pretence of “goodness” (to the Palestinians. I do not believe there is one single person who believes that, had the Palestinian problem been attributable to Mugabe, say, these worried British luminaries would have spent their Bank holiday, or anything else, on that matter). Having exposed their terrible face no one must help them now to drive this on under any deceitful pretence. The worst thing one can do in combating AIDS is to succumb to calling it “just a Flu”.
