The Ariel University/ Centre of Samaria was recently expelled from Solar Decathlon Europe 2010, which will take place next year in Madrid, by the Ministry of Housing of Spain.

The decision was taken after strong pressure from pro-Palestinian groups like Architects for Justice in Palestine-APJP, PACBI, and the BDS Movement – Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions for Palestine.

Scholars for Peace in the Middle East has written a letter of concern. This letter has been sent to the Spanish Government, co-organizers of Solar Decathlon 2010 at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and to the other participants of the Solar Decathlon 2010.

We employ academic means to address these issues.
