Ask Obama and Clinton Questions About Israeli-Palestinian Peace Proposals Through CNN

  • 0

In a news report this morning on CNN (2/23/08), the commentators have asked the public to send in their questions for both Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton in areas that perhaps they may not have been asked before given the fact that in the last debate they agree on so much and that their differences are few and related to health care mandates and diplomacy.
In no debate has the candidates’s positions on resolution of the Palestinian- Israeli conflict been asked or challenged. Both candidates speak in generalities about supporting Israel as an ally, but are short on specifics about handling the conflict. Hillary Clinton has been silent on many details and there is concern about some of Obama’s advisors who are not seen as helpful with respect to issues of supporting Israel.
CNN has indicated it is particularly interested in hearing from states with upcoming primaries such as Ohio, New York, Texas, and Pennsylvania among others. So it is important that you write to them and ask the candidates to respond to specifics about approaching resolution of the conflicts and perhaps address issues about their advisors and approaches.
Write to weekend@cnn. com with your questions. Do it as soon as possible and spread this alert.
Thank you
