Paris Conference on Palestinian Refugees in the Middle East

The European Jewish Congress, in conjunction with the CRIF, the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions, will be holding a conference on the 29th of May in Paris, intended to shed some needed light on the situation of Palestinian refugees in the Middle East.

The planned speakers are as follows:

Pierre Besnainou, President of European Jewish Congress

Roger Cukierman, President of the CRIF, the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions

Bassem Eid, Executive Director of the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group

Ilan Greilsammer, Professor of Comparative Politics and International Relations, Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Ruth Lapidot, Professor of International Law, Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Jean Claude Niddam, Head of Legal Assistance in the Israeli Ministry of Justice’s Department of Rights of Jews from Arab countries

Nissim Zvili, former Israeli Ambassador to France

The conference will be moderated by the writer Jean-Pierre Allali.
