This interactive map is based on our research into antisemitism at UK Universities, we include a variety of issues we believe are of concern, from academics dismissing Jewish concerns of antisemitism to IHRA definition breaches, events with antisemitic speakers, University policy etc.

This is an ongoing project, if a university isn’t mapped it doesn’t mean there are no issues, it might only mean our team hasn’t found any yet, or they were not widely reported.

Map points have been randomly allocated coordinates on or near the locations of the universities that have been linked to the reports. They are not actual addresses.

Data Protection Impact Assessment

Having considered the impact on the people mapped in this project, and given that the vast majority of people identified are staff members and have their details listed publicly on their university websites, and those students listed have their information in the public domain and given that the reasons for their inclusion on the map are in the public domain, and that given this project is being undertaken for journalistic purposes, accordingly this site considers itself largely exempt from GDPR in accordance with paragraph 26 of schedule 2 of the Data Protection Act of 2018 (including the obligation to give privacy notices under article 14 or to respond to SAR’s under article 15)
