Ammar Abdulhamid is a Syrian-American author and pro-democracy activist. Exiled from Syria in 2005 for his criticism of the Assad regime, Ammar has since become a prominent voice for democratic reform. Recognized by The New York Times, Newsweek, and the Washington Post for his influence and activism, he played a key role in organizing Syria’s opposition and supporting civil society. From 2018 to 2022, he co-hosted the Arabic-language Sam & Ammar Show on Al-Hurra TV, analyzing global events from a classical liberal perspective. He now works as the Parliamentarian and Director of Policy at the World Liberty Congress – a global pro-democracy movement.

We employ academic means to address these issues.
