Prof. Gerald M. Steinberg is professor emeritus of political science at Bar Ilan University, and founder-president of NGO Monitor, based in Jerusalem. He is a frequent oped writer and an analyst on Middle East issues in the international media. His book, Menachem Begin and the Israel-Egypt Peace Process: Between Ideology and Political Realism, was published in 2019.
