Maor Shani, PhD
 

Maor Shani is a PhD Fellow for Psychology at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), Germany. His research interests are within the fields of political and peace psychology, and include intergroup relations in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, peace education and reconciliation, and Israeli public diplomacy. His dissertation seeks to evaluate long-term cognitive and affective effects of reconciliation-aimed encounter and dialogue programs between Jewish and Arab Israeli youth. He holds a Master’s Degree in Comparative Politics and Sociology from Jacobs University Bremen, and a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
