Born and raised in Israel, Dr. Ribak served as an analyst in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office before earning a Fulbright Fellowship that sent him to pursue a doctoral degree in history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Before coming to Arizona, Dr. Ribak taught at Oberlin College (Ohio) and served as the Director of the Institute on American Jewish-Israeli Relations at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. Beforehand Dr. Ribak also served as the Schusterman Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Arizona and the Lewin Postdoctoral Fellow in American Jewish History at Washington University in St. Louis.
