SPME thanks this weeks donors and hopes that those of you who have not yet contributed to the 2007 campaign will do so immediately. The fact is that our funds are running very low and we may not be able to finish out the year if we do not have more contributions from our subscribers. Many important projects and services are being held up because we simply don’t have the funds to produce the scholarship necessary to address the ongoing perpetuation of propaganda and polemics in the Middle Eastern discussion that are passing as scholarship. We need to independently fund ourselves to remain independent and strong. Without your contribution and support, there will be no SPME. It’s that simple. Please make your check out today for $50.00, more if you can and send it to SPME, c/o Susquehanna Institute, 624 Sandra Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17109-5816 USA or go directly to spme.org/donation.html to make your contribution. SPME is an all-volunteer organization with all of your contributions going directly to programs, services and organizational maintainance.

Thanks, in advance, for your generosity.

SPME

Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) is not-for-profit [501 (C) (3)], grass-roots community of scholars who have united to promote honest, fact-based, and civil discourse, especially in regard to Middle East issues. We believe that ethnic, national, and religious hatreds, including anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism, have no place in our institutions, disciplines, and communities. We employ academic means to address these issues.
