Dear Colleague:

You may have learned from an earlier edition of the Faculty Forum that the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) is engaged in a public education campaign to end campus anti-Semitism <http://www.usccr.gov/campusanti-semitism.html >. Given your professional role, the Commission hopes that you will find its campaign of interest.

One of the tools the Commission uses to direct persons who experienced or might be subject to anti-Semitism to its campaign Web site is a postcard. The postcard includes the address of the campaign Web site and necessary information for contacting the Commission for assistance on matters relating to anti-Semitism. We would like to ask you to help us distribute the postcards to as many students and campus community members as you care to in order to help us inform others of the Commission’s Public Education Campaign to End Campus Anti-Semitism.

You may request copies of the postcard by writing to U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, Publications Office, 624 Ninth Street, NW, Room 600, Washington, D.C. 20425, calling (202) 376-8128, or e-mailing pubs@usccr.gov .

Thank you for your assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Kenneth L. Marcus, staff director, at (202) 376-7700, or Dr. Sock-Foon C. MacDougall at smacdougall@usccr.gov if you have additional suggestions for the Commission’s campaign, if you wish to assist in other ways, or if there is anything that we can do to assist you in your efforts to combat discrimination.
