Radical professors push agendas on college campuses

As a taxpayer are you tired of paying for the constant stream of nonsense that happens on many college campuses? Pennsylvania State Rep. Steve Santarsiero, D-Bucks County, wants to do something about one of these abuses. His proposed “Stand with Israel Act” would defund colleges that withdraw investments in Israeli companies.

His divestment process is popular on many campuses spurred on the notion that Israel is the new South Africa and commits many human rights violations. It is often egged on by college professors and pro-Palestinian student groups who harass and sometimes physically attack Jewish students on college campuses.

Before I broadcast from Israel last year, I spoke with various pro-Israel groups that told me that the enemies of Israel realize that it will be very difficult to defeat Israel militarily, but they can be greatly diminished by punishing them economically. Santarsiero’s bill would punish those engaging in this practice.

I can hear the mantra already of what about their freedom of speech. This bill doesn’t stop colleges from proposing and cheerleading for these hateful policies toward Israel. It merely creates consequences for indulging in anti-Israel and sometimes anti-Semitic policies.

I hope as this bill is debated it will turn the spotlight on Lincoln University journalism Professor Kaukab Siddique. Lincoln University is part of our state university system and the professor is, among other things, a Holocaust denier. I wrote about Siddique and as a result a number of Pennsylvania state senators and representatives demanded that Lincoln explain how Siddique could attack Israel and deny the Holocaust and remain employed.

Remember that Siddique teaches journalism and therefore is supposed to pursue facts. The Holocaust is a fact and yet Siddique has written “The Auschwitz ‘gas chambers’ story has been meticulously analyzed, rebutted and destroyed by critics like Mark Weber, David Irving and Gemar Rudolf. Read even one of them and you’ll be rid of the Holocaust myth forever. Don’t take the “holocaust” issue lightly. It is the main source for international Jewry. It is Israel’s milk cow.”

These Holocaust statements, in addition to the hatred behind them, tell me this joke of a professor is not competent to teach journalism. Lincoln should be forced to hold a competency hearing. The Holocaust is an extensively documented fact.

Siddique has also written “The Jews are a small minority in America, yet they have over the country by devious and immoral means. They control the government, the media, education, the libraries, the book chains, the banks, Hollywood, Wall Street, Madison Avenue.” These last hateful lines reflect the underlying mentality of many of those who want to bring down Israel.

I hope Santarsiero’s bill gains traction and that guys like Siddique and enablers like Lincoln University are forced to pay for their positions.

I’ll be reporting to you on how your local representative approaches this bill. The ivory tower “edu-crats” may continue to indulge in their hateful fantasies, but we won’t have to pay for it.
