Hey Israel haters! It’s time to boycott pop music…

Further to the obvious deletion of their Facebook profiles this month, Israel boycotters will today find themselves in a situation whereby they are forced, by the courage of their convictions no less, to boycott pop music in its entirety.

This comes on the back of their Apple boycott, their Google boycott, their life-saving boycott and of course their boycott of everything else that has any relation to the Jewish state. Right? I mean, Israel boycotters are always going on about how immoral it is to work with Israel or endorse any Israeli products, businesses, academics, or even civilians. So by logical extension, all these come next.

Of course I am assuming that Israel boycotters are not massive hypocrites who simply pick and choose what and what not to boycott – and apply their hatred for the Jewish state absolutely. Imaybe could be wrong though.

This week saw pop mogul (ugh!) Simon Cowell donate over $50,000 to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). That’s right. Simon Cowell is helping to fund those nasty Israeli soldiers who refuse to rape Palestinian women (how dare they!)

Cowell was somewhat of a guest of honour at the Friends of the IDF fundraiser in Beverley Hills on Tuesday night, and even got roped into singing “Go go Power Rangers” to help raise a further $1m for the organisation which provides for the education of Israeli soldiers, and looks after bereaved families.

WATCH:

Looks like boycotters will also have to steer clear of the excellent Lionel Richie, who performed at the event.
